Beginnings

Well, I have begun to study early Church history and wanted to post my thoughts somewhere so I decided to post them on a new blog!
I have some pet peeves that may leak into these posts; namely, I cannot stand people who are intolerant of other denominations just because they do not worship the same way as they think they should. Example: Roman Catholicism. It has become vogue of late to say that Catholics are not Christians just because they do some things a bit differently or hold some differing beliefs that are not shared by the more "fundamentalist" groups today. I do not understand how others do not realize that we would not even have a "Christian" church or a method of theology today without the Roman Catholic church.
I tend to hold to the axiom that it mainly matters what one believes about Jesus for faith, all other things are not germaine to salvation only additions.

Anyway, I hope to learn alot and to share some of that knowledge with others.
